У межах співпраці між Карпатським національним університетом імені Василя Стефаника та Генеральним директоратом з логістики та перекладу конференцій (DG LINC) Європейського парламенту відбулася віртуальна практична сесія та сесія зворотного зв’язку для студентів-магістрів другого року навчання. Захід надав педагогічну підтримку від тренерів і усних перекладачів DG LINC, спрямовану на подальше підвищення якості підготовки конференц-перекладачів в університеті.
Під час заняття чотири студенти виконали послідовний переклад промов, демонструючи здатність застосовувати техніки та стратегії, набуті в процесі навчання. Учасники працювали з автентичними матеріалами та в умовах, максимально наближених до реальних, що дало змогу перевірити аналітичні вміння, навички конспектування та переформулювання повідомлення. Після кожного перекладу експерти DG LINC надавали всебічний професійний зворотний зв’язок, пропонуючи конструктивні коментарі щодо подачі, точності та прийомів вирішення складних ситуацій. Такий детальний аналіз допоміг студентам краще усвідомити свої сильні сторони, визначити напрями для подальшого вдосконалення й отримати чіткіше уявлення про стандарти перекладу в інституціях ЄС.
Within the framework of cooperation between VSCNU and the Directorate-General for Logistics and Interpretation for Conferences (DG LINC) of the European Parliament, a virtual practice and feedback session for second-year master’s students of conference interpreting was held on October 15, 2025.The event provided valuable pedagogical assistance from DG LINC trainers and interpreters, aimed at further enhancing the quality of conference interpreter training at the university.
During the session, four students interpreted speeches, demonstrating their ability to apply the techniques and strategies developed throughout their training. The participants worked with authentic materials and realistic time conditions, which allowed them to test their analytical, note-taking, and reformulation skills under near-professional circumstances. Following each interpretation, DG LINC experts provided comprehensive professional feedback, offering constructive comments on delivery, accuracy, and problem-solving strategies. The feedback was both encouraging and precise, helping students to better understand their strengths and identify areas for further improvement, while giving them a clearer picture of the standards expected at the EU level.
This initiative continues to strengthen CNU’s partnership with the European Parliament and contributes to the steady development of interpreter training in line with European standards.
