Faculty instructors at the International Conference «The Importance of Using Innovative Methods in ELT Classroom» (Ibr, Oman)

The teachers of the Department of English Philology- Iryna Bilianska and Uliana Tykha took part in the International Online Conference – 1st International Virtual Web Conference «The Importance of Using Innovative Methods in ELT Classroom» (Ibr, Oman) as the rapporteurs. The conference was dedicated to the innovative methods of teaching English and gathered together more than 3600 participants from around the globe and 40 international rapporteurs from Belgium, Austria, Poland, Oman, UAE, China, India, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Tunisia, Greece, Phillippines, Iran and Ukraine.

Our colleagues presented to the international audience their report “Developing 4C skills through mute animated videos in EFL classrooms’’ in which shared their experience in developing 21st Century Skills in students with the help of the short mute animated videos. The students’ task is to write a script and voice the video in English. While working on the same project the students develop the skills of critical thinking, communication, creativity and collaboration.
